Scholarship Overview

Richard and Elizabeth Madter Graduate Award is a type of scholarship which is offered at University of Waterloo to those international students who are pursuing a Masters Degree. This is a Merit Based Scholarship, which is provided to only 2 students. Richard and Elizabeth Madter Graduate Award are valued at CAD 25000 for 2 students who qualify from University of Waterloo. Also, the Richard and Elizabeth Madter Graduate Award is a one time tuition reducing scholarship, offered in the first year of Masters Degree only. Applications for Richard and Elizabeth Madter Graduate Award at University of Waterloo are filed separately. To be eligible for the award, applicants must have completed their Bachelor degree and passed the 12th grade. To be eligible for this award, international students must take English proficiency tests such as TOEFL, IELTS and PTE. Students will require the following documentation to apply for the scholarship: LOR and CV. Along with the Richard and Elizabeth Madter Graduate Award application. The eligibility of the students to qualify for Richard and Elizabeth Madter Graduate Award would solely depend on the applicant’s admission to University of Waterloo Masters Degree, his/her aptitude for an overall contribution towards University of Waterloo community and of course the academic achievements.

Max scholarship per student: CAD 25,000 => Rs 15,18,750

• The value of the scholarships will be $25,000 comprising of $10,000 from the payout of the endowment, $10,000 from the faculty supervisor of the graduate student and $5000 from the University.
