Scholarship Overview

Richard (Rick) Matzeg Memorial Scholarship are offered at University of Waterloo to those international students who are pursuing a Bachelors Degree. This is a Merit Based Scholarship, which is provided to only single student. Richard (Rick) Matzeg Memorial Scholarship are valued at CAD 800 for single student who qualify from University of Waterloo. Also, the Richard (Rick) Matzeg Memorial Scholarship is a one time tuition reducing scholarship, offered in the first year of Bachelors Degree only. Applications for Richard (Rick) Matzeg Memorial Scholarship at University of Waterloo are filed separately. Bachelor degree is required for applicants to be eligible for this scholarship. In order to apply for the scholarship, students need the following documents: CV. Along with the Richard (Rick) Matzeg Memorial Scholarship application. The eligibility of the students to qualify for Richard (Rick) Matzeg Memorial Scholarship would solely depend on the applicant’s admission to University of Waterloo Bachelors Degree, his/her aptitude for an overall contribution towards University of Waterloo community and of course the academic achievements.

• Must show his/her leadership potential through extracurricular involvement and/or volunteer activities

Preference will be given to following candidates:

• Preference will be given to students who have an interest in materials engineering
