Scholarship Overview

RIT Scholarships for Undergraduate Students is offered by the Rochester Institute of Technology. This scholarship is for pursuing a Bachelors Degree, The RIT Scholarships for Undergraduate Students is given one-time to a multiple students each year. This scholarship awards a maximum of USD 20000 per student and is used to cover tuition. Under this scholarship some students get their full tuition fee waived. To be eligible for this grant, applicants must have taken the 12th grade. Students from abroad must take English proficiency exams like TOEFL, IELTS, PTE in order to be eligible for this award.

Eligibility

• Applicants must hold a high school diploma in US or equivalent 
• For all bachelor’s degree programs, a strong performance in a college preparatory program is expected. Generally, this includes 4 years of English, 3-4 years of mathematics, 2-3 years of science, and 3 years of social studies and/or history
• Applicants must meet all degree specific subject requirements. 
• Applicants must meet english language requirements i.e TOEFL score 79, IELTS score 6.5 and PTE overall score 58. 

Application Process for this scholarship

• Submit an official high school transcript. Transcripts may be sent electronically or mailed/emailed to RIT Admissions from your high school.
• Submit a letter of recommendation.
• Submit results of the TOEFL, IELTS or PTE Academic examination
• An Art Portfolio is required for admission to the School of Art, School of Design and School of Film and Animation.
• Applicants will be automatically considered for this scholarship at the time of admission. A separate application is not required.
