Ron Joyce Foundation Scholarship is offered by the Mount Allison University . Ron Joyce Foundation Scholarship is awarded to Bachelors Degree students who can demonstrate excellent academic achievement and the potential to contribute to the university community. This Need Based scholarship will be given on a yearly basis. The scholarship amount can be used for tuition. The maximum scholarship amount a student can get is CAD 3000. Students will be auto-considered for this scholarship if they apply for the courses on which this scholarship is applicable. In this case, they need not submit a separate application for applying to this scholarship. To be eligible for this grant, applicants must have taken the 12th grade. International students seeing to avail this scholarship need to appear for English proficiency tests like TOEFL, IELTS .

Eligibility

  • The scholarship is offered to all finalists of the Marjorie Young Bell Scholarship who are not selected
  • Applicants must have passed high school from:
    • Higher Secondary Certificate Examinations (HSC)
    • Senior School Certificate Examinations (CBSE)
    • Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (ISC board)
  • Applicants must have minimum scores of 65 percent in all courses taken. 
  • Required course: Grade 12 math
  • Applicants may be considered for early admission on their final grade 11 transcripts
    • A minimum admissions average of 80% is required for consideration.
  • TOEFL score of 90 with no band score lower than 20
  • Academic (IELTS) score of 6.5 with no band score lower than 6
