Scholarship Overview

Russell David Smith Graduate Award in Public and International Affairs is applicable to only Masters courses. This is a merit based scholarship. Russell David Smith Graduate Award in Public and International Affairs award up to CAD 2,500 one time to various international students. 1 scholarship is awarded to student each year. All international students irrespective of their Nationality can apply for a Russell David Smith Graduate Award in Public and International Affairs. If an applicant has already received a free bursary or has applied for another scholarship offered by the university, then he/she is not eligible for this scholarship. All international students are auto-considered for these scholarships when they apply for the courses that have scholarships.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must be:

• Incoming full-time graduate Master’s student;
• Must demonstrate financial need;
• Must have a minimum ‘A-’ average

• transcripts from Admissions package and/or student file;
• Student Financial Profile for the upcoming academic year;
• Application process- Recipients will be recommended by the Graduate Program in Public and International Affairs to the Faculty of Graduate Studies Awards Committee for review at the April meeting.
