Scholarship Overview

Scholarship For Masters (Accademia Costume e Moda) is offered by the Accademia Costume e Moda . Scholarship For Masters (Accademia Costume e Moda) is awarded to Masters Degree students who can demonstrate excellent academic achievement and the potential to contribute to the university community. This Merit Based scholarship will be given one time. The scholarship amount can be used for tuition. The maximum scholarship amount a student can get is Euro 12000. Students will be auto-considered for this scholarship if they apply for the courses on which this scholarship is applicable. In this case, they need not submit a separate application for applying to this scholarship. To be eligible for the award, applicants must have completed their Bachelor degree and passed the 12th grade.

• Accademia Costume & Moda offers partial scholarships for the attendance of its Master programmes available in Rome and Milan
• The scholarship winners will also have to pay the enrolment fee due within 10 days from the formal acceptance

Eligibility

• Applicants must fulfil all the below requirements:
• Degree requirement: Have achieved a 3- year Bachelor’s Degree award, the equivalent of 180 credits ECTS, recognized by the Italian Ministry of Education
• Participant requirement: For the scholarships to be awarded, the minimum of course participants required will be:
  • At least 11 for each Academic Master (1-Year) for 1 scholarship award equal to 60% of the tuition fee
  • At least 14 for each Academic Master (1-Year) for 1 scholarship award equal to 40% of the tuition fee
• Project requirement for Academic Master (1-Year 60 ECTS) programs:
  • Alta Moda, Fashion Design: A capsule collection containing at least six outfits, a portfolio describing research and experimental work and the creative process -- from sketches to final designs -- colour and materials, and a 300-word project description
  • Creative Knitwear Design: a Capsule collection of 6 outfit minimum, including preparatory work with yarn and stitch indications this can include Jersey. A portfolio that includes the work of research and experimentation demonstrating the creative process - from the sketches to the final designs - the colours and materials charts and the description of the project in 300 words
  • Accessories Design & Fashion Jewellery: Design a collection of accessories (leather, shoes, glasses) and/or jewellery, a minimum of 8 pieces, accompanied by a portfolio, research and experimental work, demonstrating process from sketch to final design, colour n story and materials, and a 300-word description of the project
  • The Art and Craft of the Costume Designer: Choose a play, book, or film based on the key and theme of the story and research the characters. Based on this, a portfolio will be produced that describes the research work, resources used, prepared sketches, final drawings, colour and material, and a 300-word project description
  • Fabrics Innovation Design: Design a fabric print (up to 6 proposals), or analyse at least 3 fabrics used by major fashion brands, or 3 textile development proposals based on the research topic. The project will be accompanied by a portfolio of research and experimental work, demonstrate your creative process from the sketches to the final design, including colour story and materials, and a 300-word project description
