Scholarship Overview

School of International Development and Global Studies Student Mobility Bursary is aimed at providing support to outstanding students entering or enrolled in the Honours BSocSc in International Development and Globalization,Master of Arts in International Development and Globalization from University of Ottawa in Canada. This award can be awarded to Multiple candidates. This scholarship can be used primarily towards tuition. University offers the merit-based as well as need-based scholarship which amounts to CAD 1500 and offered on a yearly basis. As part of the School of International Development and Global Studies Student Mobility Bursary selection process, applicants would be required to submit the following documents: CV.

Eligibility

• The applicant must:
  • be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident, a person with the protected/refugee status or an international student;
  • be registered as a full-time student in a B.A. or M.A. program at the School of International Development and Global Studies at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Ottawa;
  • have achieved a CGPA of at least 7.5;
  • demonstrate financial need, as determined by the Financial Aid and Awards Service of the University of Ottawa;
  • demonstrate a continuing interest in community service, and/or volunteer activities;
  • travel abroad as part of their program requirements
