  • Have applied to study one of the following taught Master’s courses in SSPSSR: MA Criminology, MA Sociology, MA Methods of Social Research, MA International Social Policy (one year MA only) for entry in September
  • Be classified by the University of Kent as an overseas student for tuition fee purposes
  • Be fully self-funding your studies
  • Have firmly accepted an offer of a place on a taught one of the MA courses detailed above by the scholarship application deadline

  • This award cannot be held in conjunction with other awards and scholarships offered by SSPSSR or the Division for the Study of Law, Society, and Social Justice (the award which provides the greater monetary value overall will be given only)
  • Graduates of the University of Kent are eligible for the award if they meet the stated conditions
  • Where students are required to continue their studies beyond their original period of registration, the award will only be provided for that original period of registration
