Scholarship Overview

SFU Dr. Abe Unrau Memorial Co-op Award are awarded by the Simon Fraser University, which supports students in its academics and research pursuits. SFU Dr. Abe Unrau Memorial Co-op Award includes a one time award of up to CAD 2100, which can be used for the purpose of tuition payment only. The scholarship does not include other expenses such as accommodation, living expenses, travel expenses, etc. Simon Fraser University usually looks for candidates with a holistic profile, and not just academic excellence. This scholarship is available to students from all countries. As for the academic eligibility criteria, candidates are expected to have 12th and undergraduate degree that can prove an academically excellent background, .

Eligibility

• The award is granted to an outstanding co-op student in any faculty at the time of graduation on the basis of cumulative grade point average, written evaluations from work term employers, and demonstrated leadership
• Successful candidates must have completed a minimum of three work terms
• A student from the School of Engineering Science co-op program may also be considered if he/she has successfully completed three work terms and a research term (the undergraduate thesis project) producing an undergraduate thesis
