SFU Mike McIntosh Undergraduate Award is aimed at providing support to outstanding students entering or enrolled in the Bachelor in Electronics Engineering,Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering Science (Honours),Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering Science,BSc in Computing Science Honours,Bachelor of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University in Canada. This award will be awarded to Single candidate. This scholarship can be used primarily towards tuition. University offers the merit-based scholarship which amounts to CAD 1000 and offered on a yearly basis. To be eligible for the SFU Mike McIntosh Undergraduate Award at Simon Fraser University in Canada applicants would be required to have passed : 12th and Undergraduate degree . .

Eligibility

• The award will be granted annually in any term to an undergraduate student who meets the following criteria:
  • is enrolled full-time in an undergraduate program at SFU in the term of eligibility;
  • is in good academic standing; and,
  • has volunteered or worked temporarily for the SFU campus libraries for at least two terms (consecutively or not) over the past five years
  • demonstrates the impact of their library employment/volunteering, and range of activities at SFU and in the community, on their professional, educational, or personal development

Application Process for this scholarship

• Students will be nominated by the department
• Applications should include:
  • a personal statement or video (maximum one page or 3 minutes respectively) describing how the candidate's employment or volunteering at the SFU libraries, along with their range of activities at SFU and in the community, have impacted their professional, educational or personal growth;
  • a curriculum vitae (CV); and
  • a confirmation letter of volunteer or paid work from the applicant's library supervisor
