SFU Nihal Singh Ras Undergraduate Bursary are awarded by the Simon Fraser University, which supports students in its academics and research pursuits. SFU Nihal Singh Ras Undergraduate Bursary includes a yearly award of up to CAD 1000, which can be used for the purpose of tuition payment only. • The scholarship is applicable to a full-time bachelor's degree on a priority basis:
• First priority to the Department of Biomedical Physiology & Kinesiology
• Second priority to the Faculty of Science, and
• At last, a bachelor's degree in any faculty

Eligibility

• The Bursary will be granted annually in any term to a full-time undergraduate student who meets the following criteria:
  • is in good academic standing
  • is enrolled full-time at SFU
  • is a single parent; and
  • has demonstrated financial need

Preference will be given to following candidates:

• First priority for the bursary will be given to a single parent who has declared a major in the Department of Biomedical Physiology & Kinesiology. If no one fits the criteria of the first priority, the second priority will be for a single parent who is enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in the Faculty of Science. If no one fits the first and second priority criteria, then preference will be given to a single parent enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in any faculty
