SFU Open Source Software Engagement Award is aimed at providing support to outstanding students entering or enrolled in the Bachelor in Electronics Engineering,Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering Science (Honours),Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering Science,BSc in Computing Science Honours,Bachelor of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University in Canada. This award will be awarded to Single candidate. This scholarship can be used primarily towards tuition. University offers the merit-based scholarship which amounts to CAD 1000 and offered on a yearly basis. To be eligible for the SFU Open Source Software Engagement Award at Simon Fraser University in Canada applicants would be required to have passed : 12th and Undergraduate degree . . As part of the SFU Open Source Software Engagement Award selection process, applicants would be required to submit the following documents: LOR.

Eligibility

• The award will be granted annually in any term to an undergraduate student who meets the following criteria:
  • is enrolled full-time in a Bachelor's degree program;
  • is in good academic standing; and
  • has demonstrated excellence in contributing to an Open Source Software project(s) on a volunteer basis, consisting of code and/ or documentation
