Eligibility

• The award will be granted annually in any term to undergraduate students who meet the following criteria:
  • are pursuing a bachelor's degree in the Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences with a declared major in Economics;
  • are enrolled full-time in the term of eligibility;
  • have completed at least 60 SFU units;
  • are in good academic standing; and- have demonstrated interest in pursuing a professional designation in finance such as a CFA or CMT after graduation where there is a significant element demonstrating social responsibility

Preference will be given to following candidates:

• Preference will be given to students who are currently enrolled in or have completed the CFA or CMT designations

Application Process for this scholarship

• Students will be nominated by the department
• Applications should be submitted to the office of the Undergraduate Chair of Economics and must include a brief statement outlining the applicant's plans to pursue a professional designation in finance such as a CFA or CMT after graduation or proof that the applicant has completed or is currently enrolled in the CFA or CMT
