Scholarship Overview

SFU Women in Computing Science Alumni Award is aimed at providing support to outstanding students entering or enrolled in the BSc in Computing Science Honours,BSc in Computing Science from Simon Fraser University in Canada. This award can be awarded to Multiple candidates. This scholarship can be used primarily towards tuition. University offers the merit-based scholarship which amounts to CAD 800 and offered on a yearly basis. To be eligible for the SFU Women in Computing Science Alumni Award at Simon Fraser University in Canada applicants would be required to have passed : 12th and Undergraduate degree . . As part of the SFU Women in Computing Science Alumni Award selection process, applicants would be required to submit the following documents: Essays.

• The award is applicable to a full-time Bachelor's degree program majoring in a Computing Science stream in the Faculty of Applied Sciences

Max scholarship per student: CAD 800 => Rs 48,600

Conversion rate used: 1 CAD = Rs. 60.10 (last updated 17th January 2025)

Eligibility

• The awards will be granted annually in any term, to a female student who fulfills the following criteria:
  • is enrolled full-time and majoring in a Computing Science stream in the Faculty of Applied Sciences;
  • is in good academic standing;
  • demonstrated commitment through community/volunteer service to the goals of WICS (Women in Computing Science) at SFU
