Eligibility

  • To be eligible for this scholarship you must: 
    • Have an offer to study the MSc Optical Engineering programme
    • Not be in receipt of any external sponsorship covering 100% of the tuition fees
    • Need to pay the overseas tuition fee
  • You must have applied to study at the University of Southampton before you can apply for this scholarship
  • For India-
    • Postgraduate entry requirements

      • Bachelors degree awarded by a recognised University or an equivalent professional qualification approved by the University with an overall qualification of at least 60%

      • UK 1st degree equivalent: 55 - 70% depending on awarding institution

      • UK 2:1 degree equivalent: 55 - 65% depending on awarding institution
