Scholarship Overview

Sussex India Scholarship is offered by the University of Sussex . Sussex India Scholarship is awarded to Masters Degree students who can demonstrate excellent academic achievement and the potential to contribute to the university community. This Merit Based scholarship will be given one time. The scholarship amount can be used for tuition. The maximum scholarship amount a student can get is GBP 3000. Students will be auto-considered for this scholarship if they apply for the courses on which this scholarship is applicable. In this case, they need not submit a separate application for applying to this scholarship. To qualify for the award, candidates must have completed the Bachelor degree and passed the 12th grade. International students seeing to avail this scholarship need to appear for English proficiency tests like IELTS, PTE.

Eligibility

  • To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:
    • Be an Indian national
    • Be classified as overseas for fee purposes
    • Be a self-financing student
    • Have accepted an offer to study an eligible Masters course at Sussex
    • Have a bachelors degree with an overall mark of at least 50-65% depending on their university
  • Applicants qualification should be in a quantitative subject such as finance, economics, mathematics, physics or engineering
  • Applicants may also be considered if they have other professional qualifications or experience of equivalent standing
  • IELTS - 6.0 overall, including at least 5.5 in each component
  • PTE - 59 overall with minimum 59 in all four skills

  • Applicants must register their interest in the scholarship via PG Apply while accepting the offer of a place on an eligible Masters course
  • If applicants have applied via one of the overseas representatives, they will need to ask them to do this on their behalf
