Swinburne International Excellence Postgraduate Scholarship is awarded for pursuing Master of Science (Biotechnology) at Swinburne University of Technology. Eligibility

To be eligible, you must

  • be a citizen of any country except Australia or New Zealand. Permanent residents of Australia are not eligible
  • not be currently accepted or enrolled at Swinburne in a two-year master by coursework program
  • have achieved an academic result of at least 60% GPA Australian standard equivalent
  • not be holding another scholarship or reduced fee arrangement from Swinburne.
  • must have completed a three-year undergraduate science degree in a biolgical or chemical science (e.g. biology, botany, zoology, agriculture, forestry, health sciences, veterinary science, chemistry) equivalent to an australian bachelor degree.
  • must satisfy english language proficiency with one of the following tests: 
  • IELTS- overall 6.5, No individual band below 6.0
  • TOEFL- overall 79 (no less than 13 in reading, 12 in listening, 18 in speaking 21 in writing)
  • PTE- overall 58 (no communicative skill less than 50) 
  • must be commencing their eligible master program in 2021
