Scholarship Overview

Swinburne International Excellence Scholarship is awarded for pursuing Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) with a major in Civil,Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) with a major in Biomedical,Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) with a major in Mechanical,Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Electronic) (Honours) etc as given below at Swinburne University of Technology. A student can get a maximum amount of AUD 12000 and the scholarship amount will be given yearly only. The scholarship amount can be used for paying tuition. To be eligible for this scholarship students must have appeared for 12th grade. To be eligible for this award, international students must take English proficiency tests such as TOEFL, IELTS, PTE.

Eligibility

• Applicants must:
  • Have achieved an academic result of at least 60% GPA Australian standard equivalent
  • Satisfy the English language proficiency requirement with one of the following:
    • IELTS- Overall 6.0, with no individual band below 6.0
    • TOEFL- Overall 75, with a reading band no less than 18 and writing band no less than 20
    • PTE- Overall 50, with no communicative skill score less than 50
  • Be a citizen of any country except Australia or New Zealand
  • Not be currently accepted or enrolled at Swinburne, unless they are only enrolled in our ELICOS program
  • Not be holding another scholarship or reduced fee arrangement from Swinburne
• Pre-requisites: Mathematic and English
