Scholarship Overview

Swinburne Student Achievement Award is a type of scholarship which is awarded for pursuing Master of Engineering Science (Civil),Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Electronic) (Honours),Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) with a major in Robotics and Mechatronics,Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) with a major in Biomedical,Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) with a major in Mechanical,Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) with a major in Civil etc as given below at Swinburne University of Technology. A student can get a maximum amount of AUD 1000 and the scholarship amount will be given one time only. The scholarship amount can be used for paying tuition.

Eligibility

• Applicants:
  • Must be currently enrolled at Swinburne (in any Higher Education course, including an undergraduate degree, postgraduate, and doctorate courses)
  • Must have evidence of low Socio-economic status* (either you or your caregiver/parent)
  • Must have passed at least one year (or four terms) of study at Swinburne
  • Must have overcome a significant personal hardship or adversity AND managed to persevere with the studies

Examples of significant hardship are: a disability, health issues, family issues, or an unexpected event

• All local Higher Education students are encouraged to apply, including those:
  • living with a disability
  • students studying full-time or part-time
  • studying with Swinburne Online and
  • OUA students who are studying for a Swinburne degree
