Scholarship Overview

Ted Rogers School of Management Renewable Undergraduate Entrance Awards are awarded by the Toronto Metropolitan University, which supports students in its academics and research pursuits. Ted Rogers School of Management Renewable Undergraduate Entrance Awards includes a yearly award of up to CAD 10000, which can be used for the purpose of tuition payment only. The scholarship does not include other expenses such as accommodation, living expenses, travel expenses, etc. Toronto Metropolitan University usually looks for candidates with a holistic profile, and not just academic excellence. This scholarship is available to students from all countries. As for the academic eligibility criteria, candidates are expected to have 12th that can prove an academically excellent background. Students also need to appear for the following exams: TOEFL, IELTS and PTE.

Eligibility

Qualifaction requirements:

• Successful completion of Year 12 of secondary school or its equivalent with overall and individual subject requirements depending on program
• Arts, Business Management, Creative Industries and Professional Communication- Senior Secondary School Certificate with minimum overall average of 65% in 4 academic senior level subjects + Math 10 score minimum 50%
• International Economics and Finance- Senior Secondary School Certificate with minimum overall average of 65% in 4 academic senior level subjects + Math 12 score minimum 65%
• Applicants will need a minimum 85% final average based on their best six Grade 12 U or M courses or equivalent
• Applicants must demonstrate financial need and good academic standing
• The award will be renewed for up to three additional years if the student:
  • Remains in their original program of study.
  • Is enrolled in 4 or more billing units in each of the fall and winter terms.
    *A WKT term in either fall or winter term is considered equivalent to a full-time workload (four (4) or more courses).
  • Has a minimum CGPA of 3.00 or better, no failing grades and clear academic standing.
  • Submits an updated budget each year demonstrating unmet financial need.

English language requirements:

• All other programs including computer science and architectural science- TOEFL score 92, IELTS overall score 6.5 and PTE score 60
