Scholarship Overview

The International Baccalaureate 50th Anniversary Scholarship is awarded at University of Bath to international students applying for various Bachelors courses offered across BSc Hons in Physics,BSc Hons in Mathematics and Physics,BSc Hons in Physics with Theoretical Physics,BSc Hons in Criminology BSc (Hons),BSc Hons in International Development with Economics,BSc Hons in Social Sciences etc. Scholarship will be awarded to multiple candidates. Those who qualify to get this scholarship, are awarded Pound 6000, which is a one time award. This scholarship cover tuition. Students must have passed 12th to be eligible for The International Baccalaureate 50th Anniversary Scholarship. Also, students needs to submit the following exams: IELTS and PTE, . Indian students are eligible to apply for The International Baccalaureate 50th Anniversary Scholarship at University of Bath along with students from all other Countries. Students will have to fill an admission application form at University of Bath.

  • if applicants achieve 44 points or higher in IB they will receive a £6,000 first year tuition fee waiver (a total of £8,000 including the Chancellor's Scholarship)
  • if applicants achieve 43 points in IB they will receive a £3,000 first year tuition fee waiver (a total of £5,000 including the Chancellor's Scholarship)
  • if applicants achieve 42 points in IB they will receive a £1,500 first year tuition fee waiver (a total of £3,500 including the Chancellor's Scholarship)

Eligibility

Qualification requirements:

  • Applicants must hold high school diploma from STD (National Board only, CBSE,CISCE,HSC) 
  • A*A*A*- Minimum 95.0% average from 4 subjects
  • Students from Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or Indian Council School Examinations (ICSE) qualifications should have predicted grades of an aggregate of 80% in five subjects in their Class XII exams, alongside with a strong performance in Class X
  • West Bengal Board students will need to have an aggregate in five subjects of at least 70% in their Class X and Class XII exams
  • Maharashtra Board students will be taken on an individual basis but the guidelines are again an aggregate in five subjects of around 85% depending upon their individual subjects
  • Applicants must be assessed as a new first-year overseas fee paying student
  • Applicants must accept a place on a full-time campus based undergraduate course starting in 2023
  • Applicants must achieve 42 points or higher in the International Baccalaureate (IB)
  • Applicants must meet english language requirements: 
    • IELTS- 7.0 with 6.5 in each component
    • PTE- 69 with no less than 62 in each component
