Scholarship Overview

The O'Connor Scholarship is offered by the University College Cork to international students. The O'Connor Scholarship is available for students from any country who want to study Masters Degree in the Ireland at the University College Cork. Every year, the university selects Single candidate from all the received applications and offers them scholarships based on their academic profiles. The maximum scholarship that a student can receive is Euro 10000 at University College Cork. The fee needs to be paid in full, the scholarship amount will be given to students once they start their study program.

Additional Information

The award of the scholarship is subject to the following conditions which have been approved by the donor and University College Cork:

  • Each scholarship shall be designated "The O'Connor Scholarship".
  • One scholarship shall be offered for award annually and shall be open for competition among suitably qualified graduates of University College Cork, who were born in Ireland.
  • The scholarship is tenable at University College Cork and is confined to graduates with a parent whose surname on birth was O'Connor.
  • The scholarship shall be renewed for at most one year, subject to satisfactory academic performance by the holder.
  • If a scholarship is not awarded in any one year, an additional scholarship may be offered in the following year.
