Scholarship Overview

The University of Southern Mississippi Academic Excellence Scholarship is applicable to only Bachelors Degree students. This is a Merit Based scholarship. The University of Southern Mississippi Academic Excellence Scholarship award up to USD 25782 on a one time basis to various international students. The number of students to be awarded this scholarship Varies depending upon the university each year. Students must have taken the 12th grade to be eligible for this scholarship. To be eligible for this award, international students must take English language examinations as well as standardised exams like TOEFL, IELTS and SAT. In order to apply for the scholarship, students need the following documents: LOR, Essays and Official Transcripts. All international students are auto-considered for these scholarships when they apply for the courses that have scholarships

• Students must have a high school core gpa of 3.0 or higher
• All awards are automatically renewed for a total of 4 years (8 consecutive fall/spring semesters) in accordance to the student maintaining scholarship stipulations each semester.
