Scholarship Overview

Tippie Scholarship is offered by the University of Iowa . Tippie Scholarship is awarded to Bachelors Degree students who can demonstrate excellent academic achievement and the potential to contribute to the university community. This is a Merit Based scholarship. The maximum scholarship amount a student can get is not mentioned by the university. The scholarship amount can be used for tuition. Students will be auto-considered for this scholarship if they apply for the courses on which this scholarship is applicable. In this case, they need not submit a separate application for applying to this scholarship. To be eligible for the award, applicants must have completed their Bachelor degree and passed the 12th grade. To be eligible for this award, international students must take English language examinations as well as standardised exams like TOEFL, IELTS and SAT. Eligibility

• Direct admission is designed for high school students applying to the University as first-year students with an ACT composite score of 26 or higher (or a combined SAT score of 1230
• High school grade-point average (GPA) of 3.60 is also required or higher Applicants who do not meet this criterion but present strong academic records will be carefully considered
• A minimum score of 6.5 in IELTS with no sub scores less than 6
• A minimum TOEFL score of 80 in IELTS with no sub scores less than 17
