Trent International Global Citizen Scholarships and Awards is offered by the Trent University. This scholarship awards a maximum of CAD 27000 per student and is used to cover tuition. Under this scholarship some students get their full tuition fee waived. To be eligible for this grant, applicants must have taken the 12th grade. Students from abroad must take English proficiency exams like TOEFL, IELTS, PTE in order to be eligible for this award.

Eligibility

  • Applicants must hold standard X Certificate results PLUS a minimum 70% average in Standard XII in best 4 academic courses, including English
  • Applicants must meet the course specific admission requirements
  • Applicants must be an international student who will be studying in Canada on a study permit.
  • Applicants must have applied to an undergraduate degree program at Trent University
  • Applicants must be entering Trent University from a recognized secondary school, college, or other university.
  • Applicants must demonstrate superior academic achievement (“A average or equivalent standard).
  • Applicants must have demonstrated leadership through community service or excellence in the arts, sports, or other areas of individual achievement.
  • Applicants must meet the english language requirements i.e TOEFL overall score 89 with a minimum writing score of 20, IELTS overall score 6.5 with with no band below 6.0, PTE overall score 59 and Duolingo score 115.
