Scholarship Overview

University of East London offers the UEL International Scholarship. This one time scholarship offered by the International Students Office of University of East London awards scholarships to degree-seeking students who have specified financial needs. Note that a large portion of the scholarship funds come from International student tuition. UEL International Scholarship is applicable for Bachelors Degree. The award is applicable for the courses like MEng Civil Engineering (Integrated Master's),BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Science. If we consider the amount of the UEL International Scholarship, then it varies each semester. The applicants should review the scholarship application in order to fully understand the availability and amount for that particular semester. To be eligible for this scholarship students must have appeared for 12th grade. Foreign students wishing to apply for this scholarship must take English proficiency exams such as IELTS and PTE. Students must submit the following documentation to be considered for the scholarship: LOR.

• Scholarships range between £1,000 and £3,000 - off your first year’s tuition fees- (depending on your course  programme).If you receive an offer of a place and are assessed as eligible for an international scholarship, the amount of the award will be indicated in your offer letter. 

• The University will automatically consider any full fee paying international applicant that has made an application

Eligibility

• Applicants:
  • Must have passed HSC/ Intermediate Exam for Class XII with 60% or above, OR
  • A 3 or 4-year technical diploma with grades of 55% or above, OR
  • 2 years of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject
  • Subjects required for MEng Civil Engineering (Integrated Master's): Mathematics, English and either Physics or Double Science
  • Subjects required for BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Science: English and Maths and Double Science 
• satisfy the English language proficiency requirement with 
  • Overall IELTS 6.0 - minimum of 6.0 in Writing and Speaking; minimum 5.5 in Reading and Listening (or recognised equivalent)
  • PTE 56 and above -56 in Writing and Speaking, 51 in Reading and Listening
