UMSL- Competitive Scholarships at the University of Missouri-St. Louis are designed to provide financial assistance to talented students from all over the world who wish to pursue their studies. This Merit Based scholarship covers tuition of candidates. This is a Merit Based scholarship offering 14000 USD majorly covering the tuition. This scholarship offers to contribute towards the course. The number of awards Varies depending upon the university each year. To be eligible for this grant, applicants must have taken the 12th grade. Students from abroad must take English proficiency exams like TOEFL, IELTS, PTE in order to be eligible for this award.

Eligibility

• Applicants must have passed high school with the following subjects requirements: 
  • English
  • Mathematics
  • Science
  • Social Studies
  • Fine Arts
  • Foreign Language
  • Math and foreign language years may be accepted from middle/junior high school.

• Minimum requirements are 61 TOEFL, 5.5 IELTS, 44 PTE-A, or 85-90 Duolingo
• Students are given priority consideration when they are admitted in one of the undergraduate program at USML
• Applicants are required to maintain F-1 status to be eligible for this scholarship throughout the year
