Scholarship Overview

Undergraduate Academic excellence scholarship is awarded for pursuing Bachelor of Design in Architecture at University of Technology, Sydney. A student can get a maximum amount of AUD 9876 and the scholarship amount will be given yearly only. The scholarship amount can be used for paying tuition. To be eligible for this scholarship students must have appeared for 12th grade. To be eligible for this award, international students must take English proficiency tests such as TOEFL, IELTS and PTE. Students will require the following documentation to apply for the scholarship: Official Transcripts.

• Applicants will be awarded 25% of UTS Tution Fees
• The duration of the Scholarship is the standard number of sessions required for completion of the Recipient’s enrolled undergraduate coursework program on the basis of a full-time study load, as specified in the letter of offer for admission to the course

Eligibility

• Applicants must have passed:
  • All India Senior School Certificate Examination (CBSE) (10+2) with overall grade in best four academic subjects where A1=5, A2=4.5, B1=3.5, B2=3.0, C1=2.0, C2:1.5, D1=1, D2=0.5, OR 
  • Successful completion of the Indian School Certificate Examination (10+2) awarded by the Indian Council of School Examinations (ICSE) with an overall percentage grade average in the best four externally examined subjects
• Applicants with the completion of the Higher Secondary School examinations from some state boards with a competitive pass may also be accepted
• Applicants are expected to have knowledge in Mathematics and English
• Applicants must satisfy the English language proficiency with one of the following tests-
  • IELTS- Overall 6.5, with a writing score of 6.0
  • TOEFL- Overall 79, with a writing score of 21
  • PTE- Overall score of 58-64
