Scholarship Overview

Undergraduate Academic excellence scholarship is awarded for pursuing Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) Bachelor of Business Diploma in Professional Engineering Practice,Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) Bachelor of Business,Bachelor of Biotechnology Bachelor of Business etc as given below at University of Technology, Sydney. A student can get a maximum amount of AUD 17193 and the scholarship amount will be given semester wise only. The scholarship amount can be used for paying tuition. To be eligible for this scholarship students must have appeared for 12th grade. To be eligible for this award, international students must take English proficiency tests such as TOEFL, IELTS and PTE. Students will require the following documentation to apply for the scholarship: Official Transcripts.

Eligibility

  • Applicants must have passed:
    • All India Senior School Certificate Examination (CBSE) (10+2) with overall grade in best four academic subjects where A1=5, A2=4.5, B1=3.5, B2=3.0, C1=2.0, C2:1.5, D1=1, D2=0.5, OR 
    • Successful completion of the Indian School Certificate Examination (10+2) awarded by the Indian Council of School Examinations (ICSE) with an overall percentage grade average in the best four externally examined subjects
  • with the completion of the Higher Secondary School examinations from some state boards with a competitive pass may also be accepted
  • are expected to have studied Mathematics Extension 1; Physics; and English Standard
  • must satisfy the English language proficiency with one of the following tests-
    • IELTS- Overall 6.5, with a writing score of 6.0
    • TOEFL- 79-93 overall with a writing score of 21
    • PTE- 58-64
  • Scholarship requirement:
    • Applicants must be an international student (not an Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen or permanent resident of Australia)
    • Applicants must remain an international student post census date for the session in which they receive the Scholarship
    • Applicants must be commencing studies in a UTS degree full-time on-campus; and
    • Applicants must not be a recipient of a full tuition fee scholarship for the intended studies at UTS
    • Applicants must not be enrolled in a UTS transnational program and must not be a government-sponsored student
