University Excellence Scholarship is offered by the University of Wollongong - Australia. This scholarship is for pursuing a Bachelors Degree, The University Excellence Scholarship is given one-time to any number of students depending upon the university. Scholarship amount is decided by the university which will be used to waive the tuition fee for the student. To be eligible for this grant, applicants must have taken the 12th grade. Students from abroad must take English proficiency exams like TOEFL, IELTS, PTE in order to be eligible for this award.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:

  • have excellent results in one of the following categories:

    • Australian Year 12 or equivalent international secondary school qualification;
    • Foundation Studies programs approved for direct admission to Bachelor degrees and offered at an institution recognised by UOW;
    • Diploma or other academic pathway program approved for admission with credit exemption from an institution with which UOW has a formal agreement;

     

  • enrol in any UOW undergraduate course in 2023 (Australian campuses only). Excluding; Nursing, Nutrition and Dietetics, Exercise Science and Rehabilitation, Education, Social Work and Psychology

  • be a international student

  • not be in receipt of any other scholarship, sponsorship, bursary or discount

  • be a holder of an Australia Diplomatic visa 955

  • meet english language requirements i.e IELTS overall score 6.5, TOEFL overall score 86 with minimum score 22 in Reading & Writing, and 19 in Listening & Speaking and PTE overall 62 with minimum 54 in all bands
