University of Auckland India High Achievers Scholarship at the University of Auckland are designed to provide financial assistance to talented students from all over the world who wish to pursue their studies. This Merit Based scholarship covers tuition of candidates. This is a Merit Based scholarship offering 20000 NZD majorly covering the tuition. This scholarship offers to contribute towards the course. The number of awards Varies depending upon the university each year. To qualify for the award, candidates must have completed the Bachelor degree and passed the 12th grade. Students from abroad must take English proficiency exams like TOEFL, IELTS, PTE in order to be eligible for this award.

Eligibility

Applicants must be:

  • hold a bachelor honours degree or postgraduate diploma from New Zealand, or an acceptable equivalent postgraduate qualification from a recognised university (or similar) overseas.
  • be an international student
  • hold a passport issued by the government of India
  • be resident outside of New Zealand at the time of application for this Scholarship
  • be either a new student who has received a conditional or unconditional offer of admission, or an English Language Academy (ELA) student who has received a conditional or unconditional offer of admission
  • be enrolled or enrolling full-time in either a Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) or masters degree of 120 points or more, excluding masters by thesis, or an undergraduate degree
