Eligibility

  • Entry requirements

    • These awards are available to applicants who:

      • are a citizen/passport holder of India and therefore classed as an International student for fees purposes
      • hold an offer to study an eligible Masters programme at the University of Exeter beginning in the 2025/26 academic year

       

    • And will be received by those who go on to:

      • meet the conditions of that offer as set out in their offer letter, including paying a tuition fees deposit
      • enrol on that programme in 2025/26
  • For India-
    • For direct entry onto our Masters programmes students will be required to hold a relevant Bachelors degree with a grade equivalent to a UK Second-class honours (2:1 or 2:2)

    • Check Masters courses for the exact requirements to the course

    • If any student is interested in Masters courses but does not quite meet our entry requirements, they may be able to gain entry by first attaining a Graduate Diploma via INTO

  • English language requirements vary by programme, kindly check the specific course page

  • The University of Exeter is offering scholarships worth £3,000 to international students from India enrolling on an eligible Postgraduate Taught (Masters) programme in September 2025
  • How to apply
    • If students are yet to make your Masters programme application then please visit our Postgraduate taught study pages 

    • This scholarship will be allocated automatically to eligible applicants applying for entry in the 2025/26 academic year

    • A separate application is not required

       

    • These scholarships are awarded as a reduction in the tuition fees for the first year of study

    • They are not recurrent for subsequent years of study

    • This award can be combined with an Exeter Excellence Scholarship 2025/26 - Postgraduate Taught award to a maximum award value of £10,000
