University of Regina International Entrance Scholarship is offered by the University of Regina to international students. University of Regina International Entrance Scholarship is available for students from any country who want to study Bachelors Degree in the Canada at the University of Regina. Every year, the university selects a certain number of candidates from all the received applications and offers them scholarships based on their academic profiles. The maximum scholarship that a student can receive is CAD 3000 at University of Regina. The fee needs to be paid in full, the scholarship amount will be given to students once they start their study program.

Eligibility

  • Applicants must have admission average of 85% or higher 
  • Applicants must be entering from a secondary school (or equivalent) or transferring from a post-secondary institution
  • Must be entering on a study permit
  • Students must register and remain registered in a minimum of 9 credit hours per term up to and including the last day of classes
  • TOEFL- Overall 83, Reading: 20; Listening: 20; Speaking: 20; Writing: 20
  • IELTS- 6.5 with no band less than 6.0
  • PTE- 59 with no area with less than 59
  • Duolingo- 110 (Accepted on a temporary basis until April 30, 2023)
  • For Faculty of Nursing - Only IELTS accepted
    • 7 overall with 6.5 in Reading and 7 in Listening, Speaking and Writing
  • ELP waiver:- 
    • Successful completion of at least 24 credit hours (University of Regina degree level equivalent) in an approved English-language post-secondary institution, including at least 6 credit hours in humanities or social science subjects and with a minimum grade point average of 60.00% or equivalent
    • For the Faculty of Nursing, post-secondary studies from a country that is not on the English Exempt Country List must have been completed within two (2) years of application to the Faculty
