Scholarship Overview

Upkar Arora SAF Leadership Scholarship are offered at University of Waterloo to those international students who are pursuing a Bachelors Degree. This is a Merit Based Scholarship, which is provided to only single student. Upkar Arora SAF Leadership Scholarship are valued at CAD 2500 for single student who qualify from University of Waterloo. Also, the Upkar Arora SAF Leadership Scholarship is a one time tuition reducing scholarship, offered in the first year of Bachelors Degree only. Applications for Upkar Arora SAF Leadership Scholarship at University of Waterloo are filed separately. Bachelor degree is required for applicants to be eligible for this scholarship. In order to apply for the scholarship, students need the following documents: Extra Curricular Activities. Along with the Upkar Arora SAF Leadership Scholarship application. The eligibility of the students to qualify for Upkar Arora SAF Leadership Scholarship would solely depend on the applicant’s admission to University of Waterloo Bachelors Degree, his/her aptitude for an overall contribution towards University of Waterloo community and of course the academic achievements.

Eligibility

• Enrolled in Year Three or Four of any program in the School of Accounting and Finance or any program in the Faculty of Environment
• Candidates must have a minimum overall average of 80%. Selection will be based on leadership contributions to social innovation, i.e., developing and deploying effective solutions to challenging and systemic social and/or environmental issues in support of social progress

Preference will be given to following candidates:

• Preference will be given to students involved in St. Paul’s GreenHouse, Conrad Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology Centre, or Velocity
