Scholarship Overview

UTS Science International Postgraduate Coursework Scholarship for Excellence is awarded for pursuing Master of Pharmacy at University of Technology, Sydney. A student can get a maximum amount of AUD 14175 and the scholarship amount will be given one time only. The scholarship amount can be used for paying tuition. To be eligible for the award, applicants must have completed their Bachelor degree and passed the 12th grade. To be eligible for this award, international students must take English proficiency tests such as TOEFL, IELTS and PTE. As part of the selection process, students must attend an interview. Students will require the following documentation to apply for the scholarship: Official Transcripts.

Eligibility

• Interview will be required
• Applicants must hold a bachelor degree equivalent to an Australian bachelor's degree or an equivalent or higher qualification; Or
• Applicant must be submitted other evidence of general and professional qualifications that demonstrate potential to pursue graduate studies
• Applicants must have studied the following subjects or their equivalent:
  • One pharmacology subject
  • Two chemistry subjects
  • One biochemistry subject
  • One human physiology subject, and
  • One mathematics or statistics subject
• Applicants must satisfy the English Language Proficiency requirement with one of the following tests:
  • IELTS- Overall 7.0 with a writing score of 7.0
  • TOEFL- Overall score of 94 With a score of 24 for reading and listening, 23 for speaking and 27 for writing
  • PTE- Score of 65, with a 65 in each subtest
