Vice Chancellor's Global Development Scholarship is offered by the University of Portsmouth to international students. Vice Chancellor's Global Development Scholarship is available for students from any country who want to study Bachelors Degree, Bachelors Certificate, Bachelors Diploma, Masters Degree, Masters Certificate, Masters Diploma in the UK at the University of Portsmouth. Every year, the university selects a certain number of candidates from all the received applications and offers them scholarships based on their academic profiles. The maximum scholarship that a student can receive is GBP 1600 at University of Portsmouth. The fee needs to be paid in full, the scholarship amount will be given to students once they start their study program.

Eligibility

  • Applicants must have passed 12th, if they are applying for undergraduate programmes
  • Applicants must hold bachelor's degree from a recognised university, if they are applying for graduate programmes.
  • Applicants must meet course specific requirements, if mentioned any
  • Applicants must be applying for any undergraduate, postgraduat programmes and must be commencing their studies in September 2024
  • Applicants must meet english language requirements 
  • Applicants must be a self-funded student on a full-time, on campus, course with annual fees of £16,200 or above for September 2024 and January 2025 entry.

  • The scholarship is not available for students who have previously studied other courses at the University of Portsmouth, who will instead be allocated the alumni discount
  • The scholarship is available for ICP (International College Portsmouth) students progressing to the University
  • The scholarship cannot be combined with any other scholarship, discount or fee offer
  • The discounted fee will be stated on your Confirmation of Acceptance for Study (CAS). This is the final document you receive when you have an unconditional offer to study at the University of Portsmouth and have paid your deposit
