Macquarie University offers the Vice-Chancellor's International Scholarship. This one time scholarship offered by the International Students Office of Macquarie University awards scholarships to degree-seeking students who have specified financial needs. Note that a large portion of the scholarship funds come from International student tuition. Vice-Chancellor's International Scholarship is applicable for Masters Degree. The award is applicable for the courses like Master of Accounting,Master of Professional Accounting,Master of International Business,Master of Biotechnology. If we consider the amount of the Vice-Chancellor's International Scholarship, then it varies each semester. The applicants should review the scholarship application in order to fully understand the availability and amount for that particular semester. To qualify for the award, candidates must have completed the Bachelor degree and passed the 12th grade. Eligibility

  • Applicants must meet the academic and English requirements for a Macquarie University Postgraduate Coursework Degree
  • Applicants must have achieved a minimum WAM equivalent of 65
  • Applicants must be accepted into a Macquarie University Bachelor or Postgraduate Coursework Degree commencing in 2022 or 2023
  • Applicants need to maintain their enrolment throughout the course in a full?time study load which is 8 standard units per academic year
  • Applicants also need to enroll and begin their course as per their Letter of Offer. Commencement may not be deferred
  • Applicants also need to meet the University’s Academic progression policy

English Language requirements:

  • TOEFL: Minimum of 12 in listening,13 in reading and 18 in speaking, and 21 in writing
  • IELTS: Minimum 6.0 in each band
  • PTE: Minimum of 50 in each sub-section

  • Applicants must complete an online course application form. Once your course application has been processed, you will receive a Macquarie University Student Number which is compulsory to submit the online scholarship application form.

  • This scholarship is for on-campus study only (available for students studying online and/or offshore as a result of COVID-19)
  • Students are not eligible if they have applied or are currently enrolled at Macquarie University International College.
  • Students are not eligible if they are a citizen of Australia or New Zealand or hold permanent residency in Australia
  • If Students withdraw from their program before completion, they may be required to repay any scholarship previously awarded to them during their study period at Macquarie University based on the outcome as decided by the scholarships and grants committee
  • Students who have received any other Macquarie University scholarship will not be eligible for this scholarship
