Vireshwar Sahai Endowed Scholarship for Engineering and Mathematics at the Tennessee Technological University are designed to provide financial assistance to talented students from all over the world who wish to pursue their studies. This Merit Based scholarship covers of candidates. This is a Merit Based scholarship offering waiver against the tuition. This scholarship offers to contribute towards the course. The number of awards Varies depending upon the university each year. There are several eligibility criteria for the scholarships. For instance, Candidates should also have significant professional experience and good leadership qualities. All applicants must have successfully earned an accredited undergraduate degree.

Eligibility

• Any student who meets the following criteria will be eligible to receive a scholarship:
  • Must be a regularly admitted or current student in good standing in accordance with current institutional policies
  • Must be a prospective or current student pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in either mathematics or engineering
• Applicants must also need to fulfill course specific requirements

Preference will be given to following candidates:

• First preference given to an international student from India with 3.0 GPA
• Second preference given to a United States minority female with 3.0 GPA
• Third preference given to a United States minority male with 3.0 GPA
• Preference will be given to students who demonstrate financial need

Application Process for this scholarship

• Submit Official transcripts: Bachelor's degree and any institutions attended since that time/all institutions attended beyond high school
• Verification of adequate financial support from parents or sponsors, including the amount and length of time funds will be provided
• Verification of the sponsor's ability to provide support from a financial institution where funds are on deposit
• English Proficiency Scores
• GMAT/GRE Scores (if applicable)
• Submit the Student Health Form
• Applicants Need to submit three (3) letters of recommendation that demonstrate strong evidence for success in the graduate program
• Other course specific documents may be required
