Eligibility

  • To qualify for the scholarship a candidate must achieve an average of at least 75 per cent in the subjects prescribed for admission and must register in the Faculty of Applied Science & Engineering.
  • The scholarship will not be awarded to a student who has spent more than five years in an Ontario Secondary school or its equivalent unless evidence can be provided satisfactory to Council that this extended attendance was for reasons beyond the student’s control.
  • Candidates are required to complete a certification with excellent results in the grade 12 prerequisite requirements, with one of the following boards:

    • All India Senior School Certificate awarded by CBSE or
    • Indian School Certificate (awarded by CISCE) or
    • Year 12 State Board Exams with excellent results
  • prerequisites-
    • Mathematics (including Calculus)
    • Physics
    • Chemistry
    • English
  • English Proficiency requirements 
    • Duolingo-an overall score of 120, with no subscore below 100
    • IELTS-an overall band of 6.5, with no band below 6.0
    • TOEFL-score of 89 with 22 in each of Speaking and Writing.
