Dalhousie University offers the WeAreAllCS Women in Technology Entrance Scholarship. Every year, the International Students Office of Dalhousie University awards scholarships to degree-seeking students who have specified financial needs. Note that a large portion of the scholarship funds come from International student tuition. WeAreAllCS Women in Technology Entrance Scholarship is applicable for Bachelors Degree. The award is applicable for the courses like Bachelor of Computer Science. If we consider the amount of the WeAreAllCS Women in Technology Entrance Scholarship, then it varies each semester.     • Can demonstrate a passion for technology and contribution towards the community
    • Identify as female
      • IELTS: No lower than 6.0 in each band
      • TOEFL: No lower than 20 in each band
      • PTE: no lower than 50 in each skill

Application Process for this scholarship

  • To apply for a Women in Technology Entrance Scholarship, the student must first be accepted into the Bachelor of Computer Science or Bachelor of Applied Computer Science program
  • The student must then submit a 1-page essay or a 3-5-minute video describing what she has done to merit this award
  • Examples to demonstrate your passion and contribution might include:
    • Participation in groups working with technology
    • Introducing technology to the community
    • Contribution to community groups and schemes
    • Playing a role in encouraging women to engage with technology
    • Teaching others how to use technology
