Scholarship Overview

Western Union International Student Scholarship is applicable to only Masters only. This is a merit-based scholarship. Western Union International Student Scholarship award up to USD 1000 each year to various international students. The number of students to be awarded this scholarship 25 each year. All international students irrespective of their countries can apply for a Western Union International Student Scholarship.

Eligibility

• Applicants must:
  • Be an undergraduate or graduate student in any major field at a CSU campus;
  • Be an international student studying at any of the twenty-three CSU campuses;
  • Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale and be in good academic standing at their campus

Application Process for this scholarship

• Application Process: Applications are available through the campus Financial Aid Office
  • Submit a personal statement describing the students’ background, personal achievements, challenges they have encountered, educational pursuits and aspirations for the future;
  • The Financial Aid Office will review applications to ensure they meet all stated requirements. Completed applications submitted by the campus Financial Aid Office to the CSU Foundation must include the following:
    • Scholarship Applicant Information form, completed by the student
    • A Personal Statement as noted above
    • A completed Application Checklist
