Scholarship Overview

Williams Papworth Studentship is a type of scholarship which is awarded for pursuing Master of Business Administration at University of Cambridge. Scholarship amount is decided by the university which is paid one time only for waiver in tuition fees. Preference may be given to applicants who are ethnically or culturally connected with Tibet, and to applicants for one-year Masters courses To be eligible for the award, applicants must have completed their 12th grade and also possess a Bachelor degree. To be eligible for this award, international students must take English language examinations as well as standardised exams like IELTS, GRE and GMAT. As a part of selection process, applicants must have relevant work experience and also needs to appear for an interview. In order to apply for the scholarship, students need the following documents: LOR and Essays.

Eligibility

  • Applicant must be from the Tibetan Plateau, or its surrounding regions or countries
  • Bachelor: Professional Bachelor (4 years) when awarded from a top institution (BEng; BTech; MBBS) with a grade of 70%. Bachelor of Law (3 years) with a grade of 70%. Bachelor of Arts (3 years) (From University of Delhi and Mumbai) with a grade of 70% or Masters with a Pass
  • IELTS: 7.5 with min score of 7.0 in each section
  • GMAT/ GRE: test score is required
  • Work Experience: Applicant must have a minimum of two years' work experience by the start of the intake
  • Interview: Short-listed candidates are invited to an interview day at Cambridge Judge Business School. In exceptional circumstances (for example if it is difficult for applicant to get a visa at short notice to visit the UK) university sometimes able to offer interviews in their own country or occasionally by Skype

    • Describe a situation where you had to work jointly with others to achieve a common goal. What did you learn from the experience? (up to 200 words)
