Scholarship Overview

Williams Papworth Studentship is a type of scholarship which is awarded for pursuing MPhil in Engineering for Sustainable Development at University of Cambridge. Scholarship amount is decided by the university which is paid one time only for waiver in tuition fees. To be eligible for the award, applicants must have completed their Bachelor degree and passed the 12th grade. Foreign students wishing to apply for this scholarship must take English proficiency exams such as IELTS. Students will require the following documentation to apply for the scholarship: LOR and Official Transcripts.

Eligibility

• Applicant must be from the Tibetan Plateau, or its surrounding regions or countries
• Bachelor: Professional Bachelor (4 years) when awarded from a top institution (BEng; BTech; MBBS) with a grade of 70%. Bachelor of Law (3 years) with a grade of 70%. Bachelor of Arts (3 years) (From University of Delhi and Mumbai) with a grade of 70% or Masters with a Pass
• IELTS: 7.0 with no score less than 7.0 in each section

Preference will be given to following candidates:

• Preference may be given to applicants who are ethnically or culturally connected with Tibet, and to applicants for one-year Masters courses
