Scholarship Overview

Wish Scholarship are offered at University of Waterloo to those international students who are pursuing a Bachelors Degree. This is a Merit Based Scholarship, which is provided to only 2 students. Wish Scholarship are valued at CAD 2000 for 2 students who qualify from University of Waterloo. Also, the Wish Scholarship is a one time tuition reducing scholarship, offered in the first year of Bachelors Degree only. Applications for Wish Scholarship at University of Waterloo are filed separately. Bachelor degree is required for applicants to be eligible for this scholarship. Along with the Wish Scholarship application. The eligibility of the students to qualify for Wish Scholarship would solely depend on the applicant’s admission to University of Waterloo Bachelors Degree, his/her aptitude for an overall contribution towards University of Waterloo community and of course the academic achievements.

Scholarship amount details

Max scholarship per student: CAD 2,000 => Rs 1,21,500

Conversion rate used: 1 CAD = Rs. 60.44 (last updated 25th November 2024)

• valued at $2,000 each, will be awarded annually to outstanding full-time undergraduate students enrolled in programs in the Faculties of Engineering and Mathematics.

Student Awards

• One scholarship will be awarded to a top student enrolled in Computer Science, Combinatorics and Optimization, or Pure Mathematics
• one scholarship will be awarded to a top student enrolled in Computer Engineering or Software Engineering
