Scholarship Overview

York University Talent Entrance Scholarship is applicable to only Bachelors courses. This is a merit based scholarship. York University Talent Entrance Scholarship award up to USD 1,000 one time to various international students. The number of students to be awarded this scholarship are 15 each year. To be eligible for this scholarship students need to appear for TOEFL, IELTS and PTE.Students must have passed 12th and to be eligible for this scholarship. All international students irrespective of their Nationality can apply for a York University Talent Entrance Scholarship . If an applicant has already received a free bursary or has applied for another scholarship offered by the university, then he/she is not eligible for this scholarship. All international students are auto-considered for these scholarships when they apply for the courses that have scholarships.

Eligibility

Qualification requirements:

• Completion of one of the following:
  • All-India Senior School Certificate (AISSCE)
  • Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC)
  • Indian School Certificate (ISC)
  • Intermediate Examination Certificate
  • Pre-University Examination Certificate
• Grade XII graduation with minimum overall average of 60% is required to be considered for most programs - minimum 5 academic courses
• Some programs require a higher average
• Prerequisite courses should not be below a grade of 55%.
• English language requirements i.e TOEFL score 88, IELTS overall score 6.5 and PTE score 60. 
• Award based on performance in the audition or evaluation required for admission to the School of the Arts, Media, Performance & Design.
