- If students major in biology at Concordia, they can anticipate learning both inside and outside of the classroom and explore a broad range of disciplines. they will attend lectures and participate in labs and field research to obtain hands-on experience. Many of the required classes are taken in the Concordia Center for Environmental Stewardship, a LEEDS Platinum facility designed specifically for laboratory courses that emphasize fieldwork and environmental ethics.
- Over the course of your biological studies, you will take 49 credits of required coursework and 11 credits of related electives. The required coursework provides a strong foundation in the biological sciences, while the elective coursework allows you to focus on your area of interest.
- Students who major in biology have a well-rounded range of courses and concentrations to form a comprehensive education base. Biological studies will explore a broad range of disciplines within the life sciences—from botany, zoology, and ecology to cell biology, microbiology, microorganisms, and genetics. You will also take physics, chemistry, communication, and ethics to further deepen your knowledge and understanding of organisms and their processes.

A good university for your masters with affordable fees and lovely environment at the campus.
Tips: First of all, there are no scholarships offered at Concordia University Wisconsin, but the fees are quite affordable. CUW is a well-known university that provides quality education and job opportunities post-graduation. So, this can be a good choice for your Masters and career building. I'm having a great time at Concordia University Wisconsin. I didn't think it would be a great choice for my master's degree because there weren't enough details or reviews about it. But I took a chance and am happy with my decision. The lakeshore is my favourite spot on campus, and I never get tired of looking at it. The cool breeze from the Lakeshore, the greenery and the people on the campus are friendly. The staff is good, the education is of high quality. The professors are friendly and enjoy teaching us. I usually go to the class and enjoy the lectures that are provided by the professors. The lectures are interactive and it also includes some theoretical and physical activities which makes the class more comfortable and enjoyable. CUW has also organized volleyball and cricket tournaments, music nights, food competitions and many more. I just love studying at CUW.

Convenient for international student.
Tips: I chose Concordia University because many of my friends from my home country were studying there and they always talked about it. I didn't get any scholarships, but the college does provide a few. The course and the subject are very interesting, and I got the exposure to learn with different people from different countries. Besides, the faculty are very friendly and helpful so you can reach out to them anytime. There are events and grooming sessions to improve our social skills so do participate in it. Overall, I am quite satisfied with the course, college and the country.
