  • Resume: Applicants are asked to submit their resume, defining their experience in the field of CS. However, they can also mention the projects they worked on. 

  • 3 LORs:  Applicants are suggested to submit 3 LORs with particular recommendations from their previous degrees. 

  • The Computer Science program requires an official Graduate Record Exam (GRE) score to be submitted prior to admission consideration with a preferred score of 286 with no less than 140 on the verbal section (effective Fall 2015) and 148 on the quantitative section.However GRE can be waived off if you hold a master’s degree from an accredited US institution

  • Applicants are asked for a background requirements as mentioned below:

  • Foundations of Computer Science I (CS 1428)

  • Foundations of Computer Science II (CS 2308)

  • Assembly Language (CS 2318)

  • Computer Architecture (CS 3339)

  • Data Structures and Algorithms (CS 3358)

  • Program Translators (CS 4318) or Operating Systems (CS 4328)

  • 6 hours of advanced computer science electives.

No grade below a C in:

  • Discrete Mathematics (MATH 5358 or equivalent)

  • Calculus I (MATH 2471)
