Been a peaceful experience.
Tips: I have had a fairly comfortable time adjusting here as the students are quite friendly and accommodating. If you are planning to stay out of campus, then make sure it's within walking distance as transport can become tricky because of the limited on-campus parking. The courseload is challenging so attend office hours and ask your professors for help whenever needed.

University of California is a good place to make friends and building connections.
Tips: One of the first things that I have noticed here is the vast amount of diversity in the student body and faculty as well. You can expect to meet all sorts of people who will contribute to your growth and college life. Moreover, consider getting yourself a bike or carrying a digital map to track down the bus routes.
