The minimum eligibility criteria for admission to MSc courses at Anna University is candidates must complete their BSc degree with relevant subjects and secure a minimum aggregate of 50%. Moreover, for admission to MSc CS (distance course) candidates must complete their bachelor's degree of a minimum of three years with Mathematics as one of the subjects at higher senior secondary level or graduation level.

Yes, Anna University does offer MSc courses for the duration of two years, divided into four semesters. Further, the university and its affiliated college offer MSc courses for full-time and distance modes of learning. For admission to MSc courses AU Chennai conducts its entrance test, followed by a counselling process. Additionally, for distance learning mode, there is no requirement for entrance examination.

Anna University offers BE/BTech courses via its affiliated colleges on the basis of JEE Main ranks, followed by TNEA counselling for admission. According to the information gathered from the official website of the Anna University, the classes are usually scheduled between 08:30 AM to 04:45 PM with a lunch break from 12:15 PM to 01:10 PM. Additional;y, classes shall be scheduled in the morning and evening hours at the convenience of the course Instructor. The regular classes are scheduled in a five-day week, from Monday to Friday. However, the instructors may schedule some additional classes/ exams/ activities at the weekends too.
