Yes, IIT Madras offers MBA/PGDM in a full time mode. The duration of this course is of 2 years. Under this course, two specializations are offered which are MBA and Tech MBA. The total tuition fees for these courses are INR 1.26 L and INR 17 L respectively. For admission IIT Madras MBA, students must have completed their graduation with an aggregate score of 60%. However, admissions to MBA course is entirely entrance-based and scores of CAT exam is accepted for this purpose followed group discussion and personal interview round.

For the M.A. in Economics at IIT Madras, the GATE 2024 cutoff was 621 for the General category. Additionally, the IIT JAM 2024 cutoff for the Economics (EN) paper was 24.64 for the General category. These cutoffs indicate the minimum scores required for admission consideration.

Yes, students who have completed a BTech degree from one of the IITs with a CGPA of 8.0 and above can apply without a GATE score. However, any student who has graduated from any other institute, college, or university must have a valid GATE score to be considered for M.Tech admissions at IIT Madras.

The basic eligibility criteria for admission to the various courses offered at IIT Madras is Class 12 with a minimum of 75%. The accepted entrance exams are JEE Main,  JEE Advanced, and others. Hence, admission will be granted or not depends on the entrance exam scores and ranks.
